I live in a small country village called Nana Glen in the hills behind the coastal city of Coffs Harbour in NSW, Australia. My husband, 2 daughters and I moved here in June 2008 to escape the noise and haste of city living after spending 8 years in Brisbane, Queensland. We live on a 1600 square metre block, so we are not on acreage, but have about 3 times the amount of space that we used to! We have just started growing our own veggies and getting involved with the local community. I love to cook, especially bake, and cake decorating is one of my hobbies. I have started this blog just to keep a record for myself of the cakes that I make. I hope you enjoy looking at them. Please feel free to leave comments.

This is great Cindy. I never knew about this site but there may be a small problem. The interest you create on this site about our lovely little village, compounded by that of our village superstar will mean that people will desire to live in our little piece of paradise, therefore raising the value of our castles and meaning I will have to retire earlier than I wanted to.
